Our range covers surface mounted, recessed, angled, corner, plinth and handleless kitchen profiles in aluminium and black, plus an acrylic recessed profile and a flexible silicone profile with built-in strip. Most come with diffuser covers, end caps and clips or brackets, and our Universal profiles, Fino and Linia, work with any Sensio flexible strip. What is an LED strip channel?
An LED strip channel is an aluminium or acrylic track that the strip sits in. It hides the strip, protects it, helps the LEDs run cooler and, with a diffuser cover, softens the light into an even line. Choose a surface channel to stick or screw on, or a recessed channel to sit flush in a routed groove.
LED profile types at a glance
Surface or recessed. A surface mounted profile such as Fino or Versa Surface is the simplest to fit. A recessed profile such as Linia, Versa Recessed or Blaze sits in a groove for a flush finish.
Where the light goes. Angled profiles such as Beam and the Ray kit aim light onto shelves. Accent fits 16 to 18mm plinth boards, Adapt suits corners and drawers, and Edge, Vector and Manta are made for handleless kitchens.
Strip width. Fino, Linia and Versa take any Sensio flexible strip. Edge is made for Razor X, Blaze for Neutron, Accent and Vector take strips 5mm wide or less, and Zella takes strips 8mm wide or more.

What is an LED profile?
An LED profile, also called an LED channel, is an aluminium housing for LED strip, usually with a diffuser cover. It protects the strip and gives a neat, even line of light. See what is an LED profile?
Is an LED channel the same as an LED profile?
Yes. LED profile, LED channel and aluminium profile are different names for the same thing.
Do I need a profile for LED strip?
Not always. COB strips such as Polar X give a dot-free line without a cover. A profile still protects the strip and gives a neater finish, and standard strips usually look best in a profile with a diffuser.
