LED light sensors and controls: FAQs
Which sensor is best for a wardrobe or cupboard?
A door sensor, because it switches the light on when the door opens and off when it closes. For walk-in wardrobes, a PIR sensor reacts as you walk in.
What is the difference between a PIR and an IR sensor?
A PIR sensor detects movement in the room. An IR sensor switches the lights when you wave a hand in front of it.
Do LED light sensors need an electrician?
The Titan+ sensors plug into the Titan+ driver, so no extra wiring is needed to fit the sensor. Mains connection of the driver should be done by a qualified electrician.
Can I use more than one sensor?
Yes, using the Titan+ sensor adaptor. See sensor adaptors and accessories.
Can I control my lights with a remote or my phone?
Yes. The Universal Remote Control pairs with single colour, CCT and RGB receivers and controls up to 4 zones, with no app needed. For phone and voice control, use a Titan Smart Kinetic driver and the Link Sensio app.
