RGB, RGBW and RGBCCT LED strip: what is the difference?

RGB strip mixes red, green and blue to make colours. RGBW adds a white chip. RGBCCT adds both warm and cool white, so one strip gives any colour and any white from warm to cool. Sensio colour changing strips are RGBCCT.

RGB and colour changing LED strip lights FAQs

Do you sell RGB LED strip lights?

Yes. Our RGB LED strip lights are RGBCCT, which do everything an RGB strip does and add warm and cool white. Polar RGBCCT gives white from 2700K to 6500K and Flux from 2700K to 6000K, so the same strip can be a coloured accent or everyday white light.

Can I control colour changing LED strip lights with a remote?

Yes. Add an RGBCCT receiver and the Universal Remote Control to change colour, white and brightness. Several receivers can be paired with one remote, so you can zone the lighting. Or use the Link Sensio app and voice control with a smart RGBCCT driver.

How many colours does Flux have?

Flux has 24 preset colours and 11 shades of white, and the RGB colours can be mixed with the whites to make many more shades. Each colour can be dimmed.

What driver do I need for RGBCCT LED strip?

A 24V driver with a 6-pin connection. For remote control, use a Titan+ driver with the RGBCCT receiver, which has one 6-pin port and handles up to 72W at 24V. See what size LED driver do I need?
