Sensio, a global lighting supplier, is partnering with 20-20 Technologies, a software company providing tools used by many professionals within the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and furniture industries. 20-20 Technologies provides a platform for designers, architects and retailers to create 3D images of their design projects.
Previously, it has only been possible to include generic lighting products into a design to provide an overview of how the finished project would appear. Now, any fitting from Sensio’s portfolio can be incorporated into a CAD drawing when using 20-20 Technologies software. Specifying lighting products when designing a kitchen has never been easier or more efficient.
By incorporating the exact fittings that will be used into the CAD design, customers are able to see a truly representative view of how the lighting scheme will work within the overall layout of their kitchen and they are able to see the specific products they will receive.
Technically advanced, the light fittings can be specified in cool white or warm white colour temperatures so both the designer and customer can visualise how the lighting will sit against the cabinets and work surfaces in place. The projections of light, beam angles and dimensions have all been taken into account when creating the lighting models to produce exact replicas.
The light fittings are categorised in accordance to the location of the kitchen, mirroring the layout of Sensio’s brochure. Retailers are now able to easily insert lighting for under cabinets, in cabinets and over cabinets as well as plinth, shelf and drawer lighting.
Once specified, retailers are able to compile a quote easily, efficiently and accurately for the products included.
Michael Linsky, Managing Director has said,
“Working with 20-20 Technologies is a significant milestone for Sensio. We aim to make kitchen lighting simple and one of our core values is to support our existing and potential retailers to the best of our ability and provide them with the tools they need to specify lighting with confidence. Working with 20-20 Technologies has enabled us to further improve the service we provide.”
Simon Purves, Independent Sales Director of 20-20 Technologies, said:
“The whole 20-20 team is dedicated to working closely with the widest range of manufacturers possible within the KBB markets such as Sensio. This ensures our software offers the biggest choice of manufacturers’ ranges and options to deliver accurate catalogues, designs, products and prices to our customers.”
