Sensio Lighting has won two Gold Product Innovation Awards at the November Designer Kitchen and bathroom Awards 2016. The first for their Multi-Light App winning an award in the ‘Innovation in Wifi & App Technology’ category and the second for their Midway Hanging Rail winning in the ‘Innovation in Functionality’ category.
This year the prestigious awards were held on the 9th November at the Supernova in London’s Embankment. Following a champagne reception and lunch the awards were announced by celebrity host Gabby Logan in front of audience of industry leading figures.
Both award winning products from Sensio were created by the in-house design team based at the companies head office in West Yorkshire and launched at the national KBB show held at the NEC in March this year.
The Muli-Light is a mobile App that couples with Bluetooth receivers, enabling the remote control of any Sensio lighting product that requires a 12/24V driver from an Apple mobile device. The free download works with a receiver purchased from Sensio that can be retrofitted to each driver to be controlled from the App. It’s very simple to use and allows lights to be grouped, switched on and off and dimmed remotely.
The new Midway Hanging Rail System is designed to allow space to be utilised between the kitchen wall units and worktop and provides both task lighting and easy to access storage space. It’s an ultimately flexible system, available in a black or silver finish that offers five components that work together in a variety of combinations. The range starts with the 1m Sensio top hanging profile that will accommodate a flexible LED strip light. There’s then a choice of 4 accessories that simply clip onto the profile: a large shelf, small shelf, utensil hooks and kitchen roll holder.
